" Microphone on "
To invoke this command, say:
" microphone on "
Say " microphone on " or " set microphone on " when you want to wake-up the microphone from sleeping mode. A sleeping microphone means that SpeechVibe is only listening for few voice commands like " set microphone on " or the attention word to wake the microphone up. The default attention word is set to " computer ", which you may also use to momentarily wake-up the microphone. The attention word can be changed in the preferences under the 'speech recognition' page.

In SpeechVibe, every command can be disabled or customized accordingly to the speaker's wishes. From the 'Built-in commands' page in the preferences,

Should the built-in command " Microphone on " have the 'Enable built-in ways to invoke' check-box not selected, then it is not possible to say " Microphone on "
and have it recognized by SpeechVibe. In that event, the ways to invoke the voice command Microphone on is not by saying " Microphone on " but by
saying it as described in the 'Custom ways to invoke'. If 'Custom ways to invoke' is empty and 'Enable built-in ways to invoke' check-box is not selected, then it is
not possible to invoke the voice command " Microphone on ".
- IMPORTANT: SpeechVibe needs to be actively listening.
When the microphone is on
or sleeping and it is actively listening, the microphone icon's border in the system tray moves.
If you do not see the icon's border move, SpeechVibe or Windows is busy on another task. Do not talk when SpeechVibe is not actively listening. Instead wait for the icon in the system tray to move again before talking.
